A communication network allows the price display to be automatically updated whenever a product price is changed. The electronic tag only requires power supply when it needs to update new image and info on screen. And those updated information remain even the power is off. Thus, it does not require continuous power supply like LCD or any other electronic display methods.����������� ������������������

1 • The POS System creates the data to be sent to the ESL Server. • The file format is typically CSV.
2 2 • The POS System sends the POS data to the POS Data Repository of the ESL Server. (If you don’t have a FTP server)
2-1 • The POS System sends the POS data to the FTP Server
2-2 • The FTP Server sends the received POS data to the POS Data Repository of The ESL Server.
3 • The POS Parser will check the validity of the received POS Data.
4 • The POS Parser sends the analyzed data to the DBMS of ESL Server
5. POS Connections
• POS Data transmission uses a file transfer method, not individual data.
• A file transfer between the POS server and the ESL Server is using TCP/IP or FTP.
Therefore, only a portion of the file is not sent.
• The POS Parser checks the reliability of the data when insert the received data to the ESL DB.
Check method performs the CRC check.
• After completed the input task, the POS Parser confirms whether the difference between the received
data and the DB data.
All the transmission result is available through the transmission results page or log view page.

6. Reliability plan of the POS Data
The GET Server performs a CRC check to verify tag update.
Tag update may cause problems for a variety of reasons.
The cause of the problem is network failure, malfunction AP and tag and etc.
The Status of Tag updates can be found on the Update Status Page.
The server can use a variety of ways to notify designated administrator when error occurred.
The Notification method can be used by e-mail, etc.
