Rest in Peace David Cassort

With Labor Day this weekend, we’re also aware that school starts this week. Please be extra mindful of that when driving to, through, and around Sacred Heart Church and Trinity

Catholic School grounds. We’ll all have to get used to the rhythm of life with school back in session as usual - and this year with more people at noon Mass on weekdays, I ask that we be all the more careful and attentive while ar-riving, parking, and also leaving. Welcome back to our faculty and students at Trinity Catholic! - Fr. Mark

ps - deadline for signing up for INSPIRE: CALLED TO LOVE in Lake Placid is rapidly approaching (9/9/16)! Please get signed up before next week, and get your seat on one of our buses running from Massena!

30 CLUB TICKETS Thank you so much for your support of Trinity’s 30 Club! Tickets are still on sale in the school’s office.

BE THE MIRACLE Trinity Catholic’s theme for this year is “Be the Miracle,” which encourages students, teachers and parents to be Christ’s hands and feet. We ask you to join us this year as we look for ways to be the miracle – big or small – for those who struggle around us.

“Christ has no body now but yours. No hands, no feet on earth but yours. Yours are the eyes through which he looks compassion on this world. Yours are the feet with which he walks to do good. Yours are the hands through which he blesses all the world. Yours are the hands, yours are the feet, yours are the eyes, you are his body. Christ has no body now on earth but

yours.” ― Teresa of Ávila

RCIA

Did you know that to be a sponsor for Baptism one needs to be Confirmed and be a member in good standing in a Catholic parish. To be an altar server you need to have been baptized, received Reconciliation, Eucharist, and be a member of a parish. Do you or someone you know have questions about the sacraments and the Catholic faith? RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) is a pro-gram for any one interested in becoming Catholic. It also assists individuals that never received the other sacraments of initiation (Confirmation and or Communion) after being Baptized. Contact the Rectory 769-2469 and/or speak to Fr. Mark, Fr.
