What makes it picnic friendly: Redwood Park has 50 different species of trees and 5 groves to be discovered. Whether you are looking for a great picnic area, all-access playgrounds, searching for gnome and fairy dwellings, or simply walking along the trails, this park is for you!

Centennial Park (14600 North Bluff Rd)

What makes it picnic friendly: The park is a recreation and sporting field destination located in the community of White Rock. You can walk shaded forest trails all the way down to the beach or work up a sweat in the running oval.

Amenities, if any: Playground, Sports fields, Horseshoe pitch, Public washrooms, Pay-parking, Pet friendly, Picnic tables (of course).

Views, natural features: Ocean view, Forest trails, Interpretive Demonstration Garden.

Peace Arch Provincial Park (138 Peace Park Dr) What makes it picnic friendly: The park is a Canada/USA border crossing park situated on the 49th parallel located southeast of White Rock. The park falls on the Canadian side of the international border. There is a floral garden, art sculptures, the Peace Arch, grass lawns, a playground, a pond, sitting benches and a picnic day use area

What makes it picnic friendly: The park has four picnic areas with shelter, tons of grassy area for kids to play, and many walking trails through the ponds and beautiful mature forest that transitions from evergreen to deciduous trees.

Dr. R.J. Allan Hogg Rotary Park (15400 Block of Buena Vista Avenue)

What makes it picnic friendly: A beautifully landscaped park with over 2 acres of scenic gardens. It’s a classic choice for wedding photos and family memories. Located nearby is the White Rock Public Library and White Rocks 5 Corners shopping district.

Bayview Park/Plaza (Marine Drive and Bay St.)
