Communion Rite B for the Alternative Service Book 1980. It has been modified to make it compatible
with the Traditional Language option in Order One of Common Worship.

1. This setting may be performed in a variety of ways: Congregation and choir (unison or harmony) Choir only in unison or harmony Congregation only.

Salisbury Service – Music for Holy Communion Order One
There is a land of pure delight
Bill Ives is Organist, Informator Choristarum and Tutor in Music at Magdalen College, Oxford. He directs Magdalen College Choir which sings the daily choral service in the College Chapel during term time. He has a special interest in composing and arranging and many of his published works, both sacred and secular, are regularly performed in the UK and abroad.
As a former member of The King’s Singers, he has first-hand knowledge of choral singing across a wide musical spectrum. He teaches techniques of composition and orchestration. In the last few years Magdalen College Choir has visited Japan, USA and Europe, made their debut at the BBC Proms and sung on a number of film and TV soundtracks, most notably “Shadowlands” and “The Blue Planet”.
