Warm-up The teacher will make various gestures such as touching the belly, wink , point to the left etc and will ask the students what they think those gestures mean. Then they will be asked what they think communication is about and how people communicate except words. The teacher will write the key words on the blackboard. Teaching steps The teacher will present a Power Point about non-verbal communication aimed to get students familiar with the meaning of various gestures in specific cultures and across cultures.

Students will practice their knowledge through short matching exercises ( image and signification ) or having to write texts for translating the facial expressions of various persons they see in images.The teacher will listen to their answers and will give feedback.

Practice (Can be games or activities ) Several students will be asked randomly to imitate various characters ( historical characters, VIPs, colleagues etc) in front of the classroom without talking or writing, just mimicking. The class will have to guess the character.
