What is the song about?

Why should we save water?Parents: Replace the words, “put a brick in your toilet” with “get a low flush toilet.” When the song was written, putting a brick in the toilet displaced some of the water creating a “low flush” toilet. Now, low flush toilets can be purchased in any plumbing store.
