Hey there Cougars!

Remember that music is healing and fun! No virus can take the joy of singing and playing from us! New this week: There will be response suggestions in this document for some of the lesson.

So…if you want to sing and dance and play, I will be posting on my website some music activities each week that you can do from home. To find them, click on the most recent blog post and open the attached document. Feel free to send me pics of what you are doing or to reach out on Seesaw. Hope you are all staying safe and healthy!

Just a couple of other important details to remember:

1) Weekly updates will be posted on my website and sent out in the IVE e-news on Wednesdays.

2) 4th graders can still submit videos of their recorder karate belt songs during this time. I will view and reply just as I have done all year. THE LAST DAY TO SUBMIT RECORDER VIDEOS IS JUNE 5TH.

3) I am here to communicate with IVE families and will reply to emails sent to petrya@issaquah.wednet.edu as well as to any messages sent via Seesaw.

Quaver Music

I assigned a lesson in Quaver a couple weeks ago. I may use Quaver a bit more so please be sure you are able to access it.

Issaquah School District students access Quaver through their Clever account.  They do not need a separate Quaver username or password.  If you are unfamiliar with how to log onto Clever, please follow these instructions in English or these instructions in Spanish.

If you experience problems logging in, please let me know via email or Seesaw and I will work to fix the issues for you.
