Grace College is dedicated to offering all student athletes an opportunity to build character, competence, and service through athletics.

The coaching staff emphasizes the development of Christian character and leadership abilities through discipline in preparing athletes for life. We strive to provide a positive experience both on and off the court that allows our athletes an opportunity to grow in their faith and athletic ability. Our student athletes also learn that pursuing excellence results in competence, not only on the court or in the classroom, but in all areas of life.

Service opportunities play a significant role in Grace Athletics. Student athletes take full advantage of opportunities to serve through community outreach and team travel. These endeavors help develop ministry and team skills through athletics.

Grace’s athletic programs are designed and administered to provide student athletes with winning experiences and help them develop a winning attitude. Beyond that, our goal is to help them develop physical and mental skills that will help make them mature Christian leaders as adults.

Today, the Athletic Department

sponsors 15 varsity sports in both

men’s and women’s athletics.

Baseball, Basketball (men’s/women’s),

Cheerleading, Cross Country (men’s/

women’s), Golf (men’s), Soccer (men’s/

women’s), Softball, Tennis (men’s/women’s),

Track/Field (men’s/women’s), Volleyball

Lancers Athletic Club

The Grace College

Lancers Athletic Club is

comprised of individuals who have

a desire to help support and continue to

build the Athletic Department at Grace

College. The Lancers Athletic Club supports

the primary goal of the college, which is

building character, sharpening competence,

and preparing all students for service.

The Lancers Athletic Club provides its

members the opportunity to foster and

maintain relationships across different sports,

generations, and geographical locations.

In this way, the club aspires to contribute,

through the common bond of sport, to the

social and professional enrichment of its

members and provide a means for ongoing

association with the college. As an integral

part of the Grace College family, the Lancers

Athletic Club endeavors to uphold and enrich

the great tradition of Grace College Athletics.

The Impact on Grace Athletics

The Grace College Lancers Athletic Club

serves as an extension to the institution,

coaches, staff, fans, and alumni. The intent

of this club is to serve as a foundation of

support and provide the student athlete

with an opportunity to pursue excellence

both on and off the field of competition.

The athletic program is an integral part of

the educational mission of Grace College.

Competition in athletics makes a significant

contribution in the development of the

total person and can be used effectively as

part of the training program that prepares

a person for service and leadership. The

Lancers Athletic Club is another avenue

to provide support and encouragement

for the overall Christian athletic

experience for all our student athletes.
