This blend combines the pleasure of fragrant Arabica coffees from Central America with the unparalleled aroma of Sidamo Peaberry from Ethiopia. The peculiarity of this unique African coffee is represented by its pearl beans, that is, only a single bean inside the berry which usually accommodate two. This coffee aroma is really engaging and special, with flowery notes and a persistent aftertaste. Naturally low in caffeine. The expertise and creativity of Sergio Goppion, his Coffee Roasters and Cup Tasters, together with the imagina- tion of a great graphic designer, beget every year a new tin featuring an extraordinary graphic-sensory quality The Limited Edition no. 7 tins will be on sale in the year 2013 in a limited number of 15,000. The Goppion Calendar has been welcome in homes, offices and bars for over 30 years, always hanging from the same nail in the wall. A calendar is an ordinary object. It reminds us of time and provides us with a place to write down useful notes. That is why we always print it in the same format, with the same straightforward design. Goppion entrusts a different artist with the making of the calendar every year. Graphic designers, photographers and illustrators have interpreted coffee - its aroma and poetry - through their creativity and imagination. Alex Miles, a young Australian artist we met during her experience in Italy, has designed the Goppion Calendar for the second time, with 12 gorgeous images specifically made for this 365-day project.Our calendar is printed in 70,000 copies as a gift available to customers at the Goppion Coffee Shops and many bars. 2013 Goppion Caffè Calendar. The four-day fair was attended by 26,000 trade op- erators from 50 countries, including the U.S.A., Brazil, China, Thailand, Peru, Argentina, Portugal, Ukraine and Russia, alongside such traditional visi- tors as Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, Spain, Slovenia and many others. Located south of the Persian Gulf in the Arabian Peninsula, Dubai is the largest in terms of population while its area is second only to Abu Dhabi. To get to know better this prominent place, we accepted an invitation to participate in the Coffee & Tea Festival, an opportunity to establish important business relation- ships. This 100% Arabica coffee, in fact, comes from Central and Latin American organic, Fairtrade plantations managed by small local producers. This booklet is dedicated to a discerning and aware public who can appreciate the ethical motivations underlying this blend, as well as its fine quality. Goppion was the first Italian roaster to use coffee beans from areas protected by Transfair (now Fairtrade). Nativo. The Gran Miscela Bar and Speciale Bar Espresso. The new Gran Miscela Dolce packaging has been available for sale for quite some time now. Soon Speciale Bar will be also distributed in its new elegant packaging. Aroma Italia. Traditional Slow Roasting. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Goppion only selects coffee beans of the highest quality coming from plantations all over the world. The traditional process of slow roasting, applied to every single batch, transforms the green and raw beans into the characteristic dark brown-coloured beans, which are then combined into extraordinary aromatic blends. The mocha percolator is the most traditional system to infuse coffee at home. This tool ensures that all of the aroma, fra- grance and sweetness of coffee are released. The careful prep- aration we put into dosing the coffee powder inside the filter becomes a rite to pleasantly start our day.
