GOOGLE DOCUMENT is a tool for to understand the content of their studies of nursing students in Problem-based learning.
Introduction
In problem based learning (PBL) students use “triggers” fromthe problem case or scenario to define their own learningobjectives. Subsequently they do independent, self directed studybefore returning to the group to discuss and refine their acquiredknowledge. Thus, PBL is not about problem solving per se, butrather it uses appropriate problems to increase knowledge andunderstanding. The process is clearly defined, and the severalvariations that exist all follow a similar series of steps.
Group learning facilitates not only the acquisition ofknowledge but also several other desirable attributes, such ascommunication skills, teamwork, problem solving, independentresponsibility for learning, sharing information, and respect forothers. PBL can therefore be thought of as a small group teachingmethod that combines the acquisition of knowledge with thedevelopment of generic skills and attitudes. Presentation ofclinical material as the stimulus for learning enables students tounderstand the relevance of underlying scientific knowledge andprinciples in clinical practice.
