What is OER?

Open educational resources (OER) are materials like

courses, textbooks, videos, and tests that:

• May be freely accessed by anyone

• Reside in the public domain or have been released

under an open copyright license

Sharing and creativity are inherent in OER:

• Use the content in its unaltered form Reuse

• Adapt, adjust, modify, improve, or alter the content Revise
