The Charity: Genesis Trust • They run 10 different projects across the city• They work with people struggling with everyday life – mainly
as a result of homelessness, addiction, poverty or disability.• They provide the practical support they need to get through
today, and the emotional support to look forwards to tomorrow.
Furniture project • Aim: to sell donated furniture to anyone who
receives benefits including students and the elderly
• Free collection and delivery of furniture
• Located in Oldfield Park
• Open everyday 9am – 4pm
The Soup Run
• Teams from 15 Bath churches work together via a rota to provide free soup and sandwiches every night of the year – even Christmas Day • 2015 - 11,000 portions of soup served
Our film • We can visit different locations where the trust operates and film
their projects. This could include:• The Food Bank, Manvers street Baptist church café, city centre + Rose
cottage café, Twerton. And……
• the furniture project on their pick up and delivery cycle around Bath
• Focus on the 700 volunteers who make these projects possible. • This should be a celebration of their
achievements.
Live recording: studio A • A party celebration involving as many volunteers and associates as
possible. • We will reach out to First group, inquiring if they will donate a bus to
transport participants to and from the campus. • We intend to provide balloons, cake and other party trimmings with
the help of M&S FOOD who are large supporters of the trust.
• We would include other university departments, such as: set design, who can demonstrate and assist with carpentry &… • the music department for live entertainment.
