Smith, pastor of the First Baptist Church in Amboy, will officiate and interment will be in Prairie Repose cemetery. Mr. Antoine was born June 9, 1866, in Lee County, Ill., a son of Edward and Caroline Hazemann Antoine. He was married to Miss Emma Ross on July 10, 1889. To this union two children were born, Estelle Ross Antoine Burrow, who passed away June 25, 1921, and ,Nliss Nina LaVerna Antoine, who .survives. Mrs. Antoine passed away June 15, 1938. A granddaughter, Mrs. Marjorie Burrow Kellar, also preceded her grandfather. Survivors include his daughter, Nina; two brothers, Albert of Maple Park and Frank of Amboy; one sister, Mrs. Robert Lytle of Canby, Minn.; one great grandson, Gene Kellar, of Dixon. Hefley, of 1005 Third Avenue, passed away Tuesday evening at 8 o'clock, death being due to pneuminia. He was 87 years of age. Mrs. Hefley is quite ill with pneumonia, also. The funeral service will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the house and at 2:30 o'clock at St. John's Lutheran church. Rev. E. C. Harris will officiate. Burial will be in Riverdale. Mr. Hefley was born and raised in Montgomery county, Illinois,, and was married there. The young couple came to this county and resided on a farm until twenty-three years ago, when they moved to this city, which has been their home since. Besides his wife, he leaves to mourn his death, two children, Mrs. Harvey Senniff at home and Geo. A. Hefley of Dixon, also 13 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. He was a member of Company H. Eighth Illinois Infantry, in the Civil war. He was an honored member of the Will Robinson Post G.A.R. and has held almost every office in the organization. He was a member of the Modern Woodmen of the World. Mr. Hefley was a member of St. John's Lutheran church. He also had the distinction and honor of being the second oldest Elk in the city of Sterling. He was always hale and hearty and thoroughly enjoyed life and did all in his power to make others happy. He was an exceptionally fine man, and will be reatly missed in the rapily thinning ranks of the G.A.R. DR. BEN KELLER CONRAD KELLAR, to whom will be assigned the number 1, was no doubt the founder of our Keller ancestry in the United States. He was born, probably in Germany, in 1750, and served in the War of the Revolution as mentioned in the preface. His first planta tion of which we have knowledge was in Shenandoah County, Virginia. Apparently he prospered there, for after starting his family there he sold out and bought two adjoining plantations on the Greenbrier at what is now Lowell, West Virginia, where he lived and died and is buried. Several of his children apparently were born in Monroe County, but I have been unable to get the date or place of birth of all of them.
