CE MARKING
For each product that falls under the European regulation CPR 305/2011 (ex CPD 89/106), SICILGESSO has issued a “Declaration of Performance” (DoP) that displays all of the information required by the CPR (Construction Product Regulation). That is, in summary: name of the manufacturer, any entity involved in the certification (for products certified according to system 2+) or the data of the notified laboratory (for products certified according to system 3), the intended uses of the product and performance of the product.

The products under the European regulation CPR 305/2011 are marked, on the documents and packages, by the CE mark.

With its GESSO products, Sicilgesso promotes healthiness of the environment thanks to their high hygroscopicity, while also favouring a high living comfort thanks to the low thermal conductivity.
Thanks to the high adhesion to the substrate through interpenetration, they do not present the disturbing phenomena of microfissuring common in other types of plaster.

The product must be levelled with a straight edge of aluminium within 30 minutes from the application. For further thickness apply CEMIX in multiple layers at a distance of at least 2 hours between the first and second coat. After hardening (> 6h) plain the surface. Wait a day for each mm of thickness before smoothing by applying preferably one of the products of the RASACEM line. Wait at least 28 days in the case of outdoor smoothing or colored finishing. In case you want the CEMIX as a finishing, it is necessary to place a layer of the product, fresh-on-fresh within 24 hours from the application of the first layer, and after drying (approximately 4 hours), wet and work with trowel and sponge.

Use
CEMIX F IDRO can be kneaded in a machine, a concrete mixer, with a drill fitted with whip or by hand.CEMIX F IDRO is applied in a single layer 0.8 to 2 cm thick. The product must be levelled with a straight edge of aluminium within 30 minutes from the application. For further thickness apply CEMIX F IDRO in multiple layers at a distance of at least 2 hours between the first and second coat. After hardening (> 6h) plain the surface. Wait a day for each mm of thickness before smoothing by applying preferably one of the products of the RASACEM line. Wait at least 28 days in the case of outdoor smoothing or coloured finishing. In case you want the CEMIX F IDRO as a finishing, it is necessary to place a layer of the product, fresh-on-fresh within 24 hours from the application of the first layer, and after drying (approximately 4 hours), wet and work with trowel and sponge.

PERLACEM 400 requires an amount of water in the mixture greater of that required for the hydration of the cement, so it requires a curing time which varies depending on the thermo-hygrometric conditions and thickness, before proceeding with the laying of the screed CEMASS.

RISANA INTONACO can be mixed by a concrete mixer, with a drill fitted with whip or by hand.RISANA INTONACO is applied in an initial layer of rendering, with a thickness of about 5 mm, without being smo-othed. Subsequently, after drying (approx. 12 hours), moisten if necessary, waiting for the disappearance of the water film surface and apply the plaster in one layer as to guarantee a total of at least 2 cm thickness. In the pre-sence of strong salinity, between the application of the rough coat and the second coat wait at least 24 hours. If you need to obtain greater thicknesses, you may increase the thickness of the rendering up to 1-1,5 cm and apply the plaster up to 3 cm. The product must be levelled with an aluminium straight edge, without excessively constraining the product to not compromise the breathability, within 40 minutes from the application. Wait at least 7 days before applying the finishing, and at least 2-3 weeks before applying coloured finishing. To optimize the characteristic of dehumidifying plaster, use breathable finishing, lime or silicate colour finishing.

Use
INTOTHERM can be kneaded by machine or with a horizontal cement mixer; INTOTHERM is applied in multiple layers, by applying the first layer with a thickness of 1 cm. After the first layer has completed the phase of setting (not less than 4 hours, not more than 24 hours), apply the second layer (maximum 2.5 - 3.0 cm).Repeat the same procedure if you want to get higher thicknesses.Minimum thickness is 2 cm, maximum total thickness is 12 cm.After 24 hours from the last coat, proceed with the counterbore of the plaster.After 15-20 days from the laying of the heat insulating plaster, apply VIPRIMER diluted 1:3, and perform the skimming having care to drown in one glass fibre net (160 g) in a thickness of 3-4 mm of levelling RASACEM M TECHNO.

RASATHERM can be kneaded by hand or with a drill fitted with whip at low speed.Gluing panels – RASATHERM is applied with toothed trowel on the entire surface of the panel (planar supports) or with a trowel, creating curbs along the perimeter of the panel and thickness points at the centre (supports with irregularity < 1 cm).Skimming of the panels – RASATHERM is applied with spatula, using the notched side to make the first layer in which you drown the network. After one hour (in function of the climatic conditions and the characteristics of the substrate) by using the smooth side to make the second layer, to obtain a total thickness of maximum 3 mm.After the seasoning of the RASATHERM (approx. 28 days) you can perform the decorative coating.

Sicilite
Sicilite based concrete
SICILITE is a perlite expanded directly from Sicilgesso s.p.a. in their plants.It has a form of white light powder.Perlite is a volcanic effusive rock, that is cooked at a temperature of about 1100°C and expands, increasing in 10 – 15 times its volume. Being a mineral, SICILITE does not burn, it does not develop gases or vapours, it is sterile and does not change.The thermal conductivity is very low. These characteristics make it an excellent thermal insulation, that does not change over the years. Its lightness and inconsistency also provide Sicilite with a very good sound-absorbing property.

Primer based on acrylic resins in aqueous emulsion.
VIPRIMER is used to:• adjust the water absorption of the substrate;• uniform the drying of ready-mixed plasters based on gypsum;• counteract the leakage of efflorescence;• improve the adhesion of insulating plaster on smooth concrete surfaces.
Use
Apply VIPRIMER with a brush or spray with a compressed air machine. VIPRIMER can be used as a finishing or as a basecoat: As a finishing – dilute an aliquot of the VIPRIMER with two to five parts of water according to the degree of absorption of the substrate. After the application of the VIPRIMER wait at least 4 hours before plastering. As a basecoat – dilute an aliquot of the VIPRIMER with one or two parts of water. Apply the plaster on VIPRIMER when it is still wet.
