Modern School, Vaishali celebrated the 150th birth anniversary of our

great Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi with commendable

enthusiasm and zeal on 1st October 2019. The main objective behind

this celebration was to imbibe the worthy values of Bapu among the

modernites. The day started with a thought provoking assembly

wherein the popular saying and beliefs of Mahatma Gandhi were

shared followed by the well acclaimed song,"Raghu pati raghav raja

ram..."

It was followed by a Rally from the students of the Senior Secondary

section to sensitize the vicinity with students cleaning the

surroundings to make Bapu's dream of "Swachh Bharat Swasthya

Bharat" a reality. Role play from Gandhi ji's autobiography " My

Experiments with Truth" motivated the students to practice truth,,

peace and non violence. The students paid a real tribute to the Father

of Nation by taking a pledge and cleaning the school premises.

"Swachhata ka Gullak" motivated the students to discriminate

between the wet waste and dry waste.

All the students promised to inculcate the habit of cleanliness that

keeps the body and environment neat, clean and delightful.
