HIGHLIGHTS OF 2019-2020 Gandhi Jayanti Celebration The school organized a series of events to mark the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi on 2nd October, 2019. The assembly began with floral tributes to the Father of the Nation and a prayer. The celebration included speeches, poem recitation and a musical skit presentation depicting Gandhiji’s ideology. To commemorate and remember his teachings cleanliness drive was organised in the school wherein students cleaned the classrooms and the school area. Students planted saplings as a tribute to Gandhi Bapu. Alumni Meet Alumni Meet was organised with great enthusiasm on November 14, 2019 in the school. The major attractions of the celebration were the school exhibition and the funfair. A good number of alumni, who came to reminisce and connect, were amused by the presentations. HIGHLIGHTS OF 2019-2020

Gandhi Jayanti Celebration

The school organized a series of events to mark the 150th birth anniversary

of Mahatma Gandhi on 2nd October, 2019. The assembly began with floral

tributes to the Father of the Nation and a prayer. The celebration included

speeches, poem recitation and a musical skit presentation depicting

Gandhiji’s ideology. To commemorate and remember his teachings

Alumni Meet

Alumni Meet was organised with great

enthusiasm on November 14, 2019 in

the school. The major attractions of

the celebration were the school

exhibition and the funfair. A good

number of alumni, who came to

Office, Bharuch graced the event.

Many exhibits related to Science, Math,

Languages, Art and Craft, Robotics,

Social Science and Road Safety were

displayed by the students from Nursery

to class XII. A replica of Victory Tower

or the Vijay Stambh of Chittorgarh

made by art teachers and students was

the centre of attraction. The Heritage

Wall displaying famous Monuments of

India reminded the invitees about our Indian culture.

The food stalls at funfair serving

mouth-watering delicacies and games

stalls were managed by teachers and

supported by students. To promote one

of the most remarkable and dynamic

art forms, a Puppet Show was arranged

for the invitees, which captured the

hearts of the spectators.

Athletic Meet

Athletic Meet of ABPS, Kesrol was held with great enthusiasm and elation on

the school sports ground. It was attended by the entire enthusiastic student

body and the faculty. The Principal declared the meet open. The proceedings

began with the march past followed by the track events. Tug of war between

teachers stole the hearts of the students.

ABPS, Kesrol celebrated its annual day on 18th January 2020 with great

zest, vibrancy and elation. Mr. S Kanakanand, President, Unit Head, Birla

Copper graced the occasion as the chief guest and Mr. Anil G Tiple, JP HR,

Birla Copper was prominent among other invited dignitaries. The

programme began with the lighting of ceremonial lamp by the chief guest

and other dignitaries. Thereafter the annual report highlighting the

achievements of the academic year 2019-2020 was presented. The theme of

the programme was Gandhian Philosophy. Students represented

characteristics of Indian culture defining Gandhian Principles with their

dance performances and theatrical performances.

Invincible Path of Enlightenment, a Dance Drama based on the teachings of

Lord Buddha stole the show with its excellent dialogues and presentation. It

was a grand show, which included various art forms such as ballad, street

play, skit, folk dance, fashion show and contemporary dance. Students

performed splendidly great and mesmerized the parents.

On 19thJune, the School Student Council was formed. Selection of

Prefectorial Team was based on students’ outstanding performance in

academics and other creative abilities

International Yoga Day

The International Yoga Day was celebrated on 21st June with great

enthusiasm. A yoga session was held in the school led by the PT Instructors.

Students from classes I to XII performed yoga realizing the importance of

yoga in daily life.

The celebration of

Independence Day

commenced on a beautiful

note in ABPS, Kesrol. A

melodious presentation

included whirling movements

and formations of garba,

patriotic dance, group song

and a symbolic Peacock

Dance. The assembly brought

forth unique features of India

and its unity. The speech

delivered by the Principal

filled the hearts of students

with pride for the nation.

Teacher’s Day

Teacher’s Day was celebrated

with gorgeous decorations and

talented performances. The event

was organized by the students of

grade XII and the School

Management. As a gesture of

gratitude to the mentors,

students presented flowers and

cards to the teachers. The School

Management presented gifts to

all the teachers as a token of

respect.

Republic Day Celebration

We celebrated the Republic day

with unprecedented patriotic

fervour. The national flag was

unfurled marking India as a free

nation and the entire school

soulfully rendered the National

Anthem. The Students were

reminded of the sacrifices made by

our great freedom fighters and

students were urged to serve their

motherland India with heart, body

and soul to bring it glory and

laurels with their dignified deeds.

The school appealed to the parents

and the students to light two lamps

to pay homage to our freedom fighters.

Farewell to Class XII

Students and teachers bid farewell

to the outgoing students of class

XII with great enthusiasm and

nostalgia. The outgoing students

were given catchy titles most

suitable to their personality. The

farewell progressed with a solo

song, group song and the speeches

by students, which were

consecrated by everyone. Juniors

gave token of remembrance to their

seniors. All the teachers wished

good luck to the students for their

future. Students took pledge with the Principal to be a good citizen and a

good human being.

ABPS, Kesrol paid homage to Syt. B.K.Birlaji

The Aditya Birla Public School, Kesrol paid heart-warming tribute to Syt.

B.K. Birlaji on 13th July 2019. The special assembly commenced by offering

floral tribute to Syt. B.K. Birlaji’s photograph. The soulful bhajans presented

by the students added piety to the serene ambience. The heartfelt words

shared by the Principal made everyone overwhelmed. The Principal

motivated the students to uphold Syt. B. K. Birlaji’s ideals for the progress

of our country.
