Multiplayer options offer up to 8v8 in death matches, point-to-point chase and escape games, plus four-player co-op or twin split-screen. TOMB RAIDER Lara Croft is back in this sumptuous new escapade from Square Enix in a triumphant return to form. You must guide Lara through a survival adventure, shipwrecked on a South Japanese island packed full of scavengers, jungle and downed WW2 planes, as she endeavours to reunite her shipmates and delves into a world of myths and challenges. You’ll learn how to hunt with a bow and arrow, fend off wolves and combat enemies with truly advanced and adaptive AI. Plus there’s a new range of multi- player and co-op modes, all set in a stunningly rendered world, to add to what’s already a fantastic package. CRYSIS 3 After and alien invasion by the Ceph (some rather nasty, tentacled, squid-like creatures named after their likeness to cephalopods), it’s up to the bad-ass Prophet to save the day. A high-tech nano-suit allows you to wage war on the Ceph and the sinister Cell agency via stealth or brawn, all the while shouting obscenities in a British accent. To save humanity, you must use an awesome bow with electrocuting arrows, fire guns galore and kick cars into peoples’ faces through seven exquisitely cinematic environments in a city quarantined beneath an enormous glass dome. CASTLEVANIA: LORDS OF SHADOW One of Nintendo’s original flagship titles is back on the 3DS. Rendered with quality graphic novel-style cut scenes, the story sees you control multiple characters from the Belmont family across different eras, each battling goblins, zombies, slithering ghouls and more with their own unique attacks and abilities, while revealing a narrative of dark family secrets and a battle between humanity and Dracula’s demonic reign. Gameplay harks back to the classic scrolling platform: jumps, dodges and attacks against your foes, with an intuitive menu and tutorial system on hand at every turn. A restaurant that fuses clubbing and dining has opened in Vegas (where else?)

CLUB SANDWICH◆ ANDReA’S hAS mADe history by becoming the first restaurant made for clubbers. opening at Surrender, the opulent home of Mixmag’s Las Vegas residency, the venue plays on the new concept of ‘vibe dining’: a fusion of the dining and clubbing experience.

many of the Asian dishes that arrive from its exhibition kitchen are designed to share, rather than a formatted three-course meal.

Steve Angello, one third of monster house group Swedish house mafia, has been appointed as Andrea’s ‘musical chef’. he has used his extensive knowledge of the international dance music scene to mix several soundtracks for the restaurant, which cater for all elements of the dining experience.

At 11pm the lounge completes its transition into Surrender Nightclub, with resident DJs spinning tracks until late. Guests can enjoy a number of exclusive cocktails, many of which are

named after the DJs that perform there.

Andrea’s features a step-up dining area with full view of the club, creating an atmosphere of complete integration between the two. With the support of world-class DJs, vibe dining looks set to become the next big thing on the Strip for those hungrier for more than just a big night out. EloisE BradlEy

m e a n w h i L e , i n t h e U K …2020Vision head honcho and original Back to Basics resident, Ralph Lawson, is setting up a series of pop-up restaurants/club nights starting in Leeds. known as Beat, this loft-style party, restaurant and rooftop bar will have Ralph in charge of the decibels and award-winning chef tom Van Zeller cooking up the edibles. Van Zeller was voted Yorkshire chef of the Year in 2012, while his restaurant won The Good Food Guide’s Readers’ Restaurant of the Year 2013. the first Beat takes place on march 23. Rumours of the dessert being a ‘shortbread disco biscuit’ are completely fabricated. Visit www.vanzellerrestaurants.co.uk for more information
