Galina Kulakova is a Sovjet ski runner.

She is the Olympian

champion in ski (four times).

She is the owner of the World Cup in ski.

She was born in 1942 in the village. Her family was big. She has got 2 brothers and 7 sisters. At the early age she was interested in ski.

Her first competition were in 1960. She won them under the

name of her sister.

In 1967 she was a member of the Sovjet ski team . Her first Olympic Games were in Sapporo in 1972 where she got 3 gold medals.

In 1970 she became seriously ill. She could not walk. She could not train. Galina believed in herself and she began to train some weeks later.

galina stopped her carier in 1982 . H.N.Samaranch gave Kulakova the silver order. he thanked her for the carrier and sport development.
