Mary Wuu-her funeral Mass will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Church on Monday September 21st at 12 noon followed by her cremation at West
London Crematorium. Christine Carey-her funeral Mass will be
celebrated in Sacred Heart Church on Thursday September 24th at 12 pm followed by her burial in St. Mary’s.
John O’Mahoney-his funeral Mass will be held on Thursday October 1st at
12 noon followed by his burial in Old Paddington Cemetery

new parish programmes for
communion and confirmation.
Application forms are available at Both our churches. They must be
completed and returned with a copy of the baptismal certificate of the
child/young person being registered along with the registration fee of
£20 per child.

Our Parish Club has re-opened! It is great to be able to
open our doors again after lockdown. Our opening hours are as follows
Monday-Friday 4pm-11pm Saturday from 12 noon-12pm Sunday from 12 noon-10pm

Update on the TV Screens for Church This week has seen the instillation of the
wiring for the screens at Sacred Heart, Quex Road. Many thanks to all our
donors. We will acknowledge them all in the
newsletter next week. The screens for Immaculate Heart of Mary will be in-
stalled during October.
Credit Union @ Kilburn The Credit Union is open at the Parish
Office at Quex Road EVERY Monday from 6pm-7.30pm. To become a member all you need is proof of ID and a utility bill. It’s a great way of saving and a cheaper
way of borrowing!

The Parish Pastoral Council for Sacred Heart will meet on

Church Guidelines for
Covid 19
This week the mantra has been “Hands, Face and Space”
It is very important that we Wash our hands, we wear a mask and we maintain social distance from one another.
If we all did our bit to protect ourselves and one another. Let’s all play
our part.
Our Food Bank Needs You!
We are in desperate need of tinned meat, fish, soup, fruit, coffee and long
life milk. Thank you so much.
First Communion
The final group of children who will be celebrating their Communion will
join us next Saturday, September 26th. There will be 2 celebrations at
11am & 12.30pm. We will be in contact later in the year about a date for their First Confession.
Signing School Forms Fr Tom or Fr Terry are available to sign school forms on Monday morning and Tuesday afternoon. These forms are called Certificate of Catholic Practice
and they state that you are a Practicing member of the Parish.
They are necessary for admission into a catholic Primary or Secondary
School.
On Sunday October 4th
at 1.30pm we will have our
very first
Blessing of Pets at Sacred Heart.
Please bring along your pets to the Church that day and our 3 priests
will bless them all.

Welcome Congratulations to

We will be celebrating our
Harvest Festival in BOTH churches, next
weekend , September 26th/27th.
Through the Quex, we are asking as many parishioners as possible to
kindly bring some food for the foodbank.
Paediatric First Aid During the month of October we hope to offer a three week
course in Paediatric First Aid.

thing we have to do is to work out how to zoom from the altar, to the
lectern, to the cross, to the tabernacle!
Open Morning
The open morning for Convent of
Jesus and Mary in Harlesden will be
held from 22nd-25th September from 9.15am till 12.15pm. This is an
excellent school for young women and Fr Terry is the School Chaplain.
