4th February 2013 Week 2 Term 1
Promoting Excellence, Creating Success
The excitement has been building as dinosaurs
have hatched from their eggs. Each classroom
including the front office have been taken over
by Stegosaurus, Brachiosaurus and
Tyrannosaurus Rex, just to name a few. The
students are very excited to learn and discover
more about dinosaurs during Term 4 as part of
our project based learning.
Kindergarten Orientation
Our Kindergarten Orientation will be held this
term.
Orientation is scheduled for:
Monday 31st October 9am-10.45am
Tuesday 8th November 9am-10.45am
Wednesday 16th November 9am-10.45am
Thursday 24th November 9am-10.45am.
Invitations have been sent home to children
who are enrolled to attend. If you know of a
child who will be eligible to start Kindergarten
next year please have a family member come
into the school to have a chat with the office
staff. These orientation days are very
informative for family members and carers to
also attend and hear about how school life will
be for their child entering Kindergarten in
2017.
Merit Awards Students receive recognition for their successes by being awarded merit awards throughout the year. An Excellence Award is presented at our formal end of year Presentation Day. To gain an Excellence Award students need to receive 20 merit awards within the year. Please ensure you bring all your child’s awards into the office to be counted towards the end of year Presentation.
Ipads Payments We would just like to remind Parents/Carers with children in Kindergarten, Year 1 and Year 2 who are paying for an Ipad that Term 4 payments can be made to the office at any time during the next 8 Weeks.
