Goals-Immersion in a more
exotic culture to become more aware of differences
in the world
-Hands on experience in the medical field

the developing world
ProWorld ThailandAn international intern experience providing the chance to learn as well as the
opportunity to contribute to the needs of Thai society. The program is enhanced with cultural experiences like cooking classes as well as chances to travel throughout the country and experience activities like trekking and rafting.

Goals-To develop an idea of the country’s needs and how I
can best design a Leadership Project to
make a significant contribution

Teachers Without Borders Nigeria
❖ An international, nonprofit initiative providing resources to both students and teachers
❖ Offering international perspectives through volunteer teachers
❖ Training teachers with the most advanced techniques available
❖ Emphasizes the importance of education for all
-Anglican Girls’ Grammar School and Learning Springs Primary
-Certificate of Teaching Mastery Courses
Millennium Development Ambassadors
❖ The Mission of the Millennium Development Ambassadors is to inspire, empower, connect and celebrate local leaders to commit to facilitate the realization of the United Nations’ Millennium Development Goals, a set of eight earth saving measures intended to be reached by 2015.
❖ To achieve these goals, the Millennium Development Ambassadors will work on a personal level in their families, schools and communities to foster a growing network of leaders that can contribute to the positive change of the society.
-Literacy Event-Microcredit Initiative in Niger State
-Radio Segment for Global Educators for All Initiative-Development of MDA Handbook, leading to
development of Millennium Development Volunteers
Fulfilling the Vision-A return next summer, utilizing the resources available through the
Millennium Development Ambassadors and
Volunteers-Work outside the city
-An approach to healthcare modeled after the Lay Health Workers
Approach
