FROM THE PRINCIPAL’S/DIRECTOR’S DESK It is with a sense of honor, pride and privilege that I am penning these few words to introduce the world of Ambedkar Institute of Technology a Delhi Government college affiliated to Directorate of Training & Technical Education. Over the past twelve years, we passed many milestones, logged in numerous achievements, created image for delivery of superior students and carved out an image in corporate as well as academic arena for ourselves. FROM THE PRINCIPAL’S/DIRECTOR’S DESK

It is with a sense of honor, pride and privilege that I am penning these few words to introduce the world of Ambedkar Institute of Technology a Delhi Government college affiliated to Directorate of Training & Technical Education. Over the past twelve years, we passed many milestones, logged in numerous achievements, created image for delivery of superior students and carved out an image in corporate as well as academic arena for ourselves.

All the while, the focus has remained on education preparing capable aspiring young men and women for rewarding careers. Our quest for excellence over the years has built up the state of the art infrastructure and equipment, made more efficient by the most dedicated and experienced members of the faculty. While we endeavor to provide these inputs, students learn a lot more through their own interaction with peers and through actual work experience and I am delighted to say that many of students are live testimony to the devotion, determination, and diligence that have been the hallmark of the Ambedkar Institute of Technology. I am sure that our students will be assets for any company. I look forward to their bright future.

Coinciding with the above development, it is a matter of pride and satisfaction for me in bringing out this Departmental e-Magazine of the Department of Computer Engg. of AIT portraying an array of activities and achievements during its regime during the year gone-by. I extend my Best Wishes to all the Computer Engg. Students and the Faculty Members.

FROM THE EDITOR’S DESK

Both Education and Training are the strategic elements which would pave way for employment-enhancing skills and increasing productivity and would, in the long run, accelerate the future economic growth of the country.

The Indian Economy is a knowledge-based economy owing to its copious Human Capital with impeccable qualification, knowledge, capability, Skills, flexibility etc. and these qualities need to be developed further and empower the Human Capital to ensure our country’s Global Competitiveness. Still, there is a dearth of skilled manpower to address the mounting needs and demands of the Global Job-Market. To find a solution to this problem, the Government and Private Sector should unitedly take efforts to introduce Educational and Training Programmes to mould and garner the Demographic Dividend.

Hence, it is imperative to nurture the skills of the younger generation as a “Learner First” by the respective Governments in our country for knowledge-intensive sectors. The Government should allocate sufficient funds for the development in all the Plans, Policies and Procedures and provide region-wise Training Programme suiting to their Courses, so that the country would face the challenges of demand and supply of the Global Job Market.

It gives me immense pleasure to edit this Departmental e-Magazine – “-2014-15” depicting the performance and various achievements of COMPUTER ENGG. Students during last year. I take this opportunity to extend my sincere gratitude to all the students and teacher fraternity of Department of COMPUTER ENGG. who have evinced keen interest in providing various articles and enable the undersigned to bring this Departmental e-Journal in an impeccable manner. I wish them All-The-Best !

A few more stepsA Man came her way.Married the Man,Yet in love with the Prince.Love transformed into care,as years passed with flair.

Leadership and COMPUTER ENGG.must go hand-in-hand. They are not the same thing. But they are necessarily linked, and complementary to each other. Any effort to separate the two will destroy the very purpose and is likely to cause more problems than it solves. Still, much ink has been spent delineating the differences. The manager’s job is to plan, organize and coordinate, while the leader’s job is to inspire and motivate.

Warren BennisIn his 1989 book “On Becoming a Leader,”Warren Bennis” composed a list of differences, as given below:

The manager administers; the leader innovates. The manager is a copy; the leader is an original. The manager maintains; the leader develops. The manager focuses on systems and structure; the leader focuses on

people. The manager relies on control; the leader inspires trust. The manager has a short-range view; the leader has a long-range

perspective. The manager asks how and when; the leader asks what and why. The manager has his or her eye always on the bottom line; the

leader’s eye is on the horizon. The manager imitates; the leader originates. The manager accepts the status quo; the leader challenges it. The manager is the classic good soldier; the leader is his or her own

person. The manager does things right; the leader does the right thing.

MOTHER ! I LOVE YOU……Dictionary Definition of a mother is a female parent, but a mother is more than just a parent. She is her children’s best friend. A mother is someone who loves you unconditionally and more than life itself.  Mothers are angels in disguise sent from God to watch and help us through our troublesome times. We hardly stop to think of how they feel and if they need help, we abuse them in a sense by not appreciating them enough.

Every mother has a moment in her life where she remembers every detail. She remembers the date, time, and place for the rest of her life multiplied by how many children she has. A mother has many defining traits, unconditional love, support, and being a Good Role Model.  A mother has a never-ending supply of unconditional love. A mother also provides the emotional support that her child needs. Without the support of a mother a child may squander through life never living up to his or her full potential.

Since children learn by example, it is important for a mother to be a Good Role Model. A mother will show respect to her family, friends, and

strangers; by showing all of them respect she teaches her children to be respectful. A mother will always be responsible for her actions and admit mistakes when she makes them.  Every child needs a Good Role Model to

look up to and a mother is just that. A mother can see her success of being a good mother in the product of her child. A mother creates loving,

supportive, and stand-up people; that is what every mother wants her child to become. And the only rd a mother wants at the end of the day is

the simple words -
