Millennium Institute of Sciences is the outcome of the blending of mind blowing scientific and spiritual thinking of some young dynamic academicians who yearn for educational revolution towards perfection. The institute came into being after a long journey of never tiring efforts of very few people dedicating their heart and soul for the cause of quality in education. In the heart of Imphal City they had chosen their NUCLEUS at a very appropriate location at Sagolband Salam Leikai, Imphal near the historic Khongnang Hogaibi.

Now with the demand from the society and ever increasing students population flocking for admission in the Institute, the Institute has shifted its school building to a new and very spacious location in 2011 with a congenial environment at Kwakeithel Mayaikoibi where a well-planned and fully computerized G+2 building is standing with full magnificence. Millennium Institute of Sciences is an educational centre of 10+2 level science stream institute affiliated to Council of Higher Secondary Education, Manipur. Now it is one of the top leading institutes of the Council of Higher Secondary Education, Manipur.

The Institute aims at creating a future society where science and spirituality play a role to change the globe with quality and human values. The institute has aspects for future higher scientific studies and more scientific outcomes to uplift the socio-economic conditions of the sub-continent and the world as a whole.

The governing body of the Institute has a noble mission of uplifting this backward subcontinent starting from the grassroots level. The first mission covers teenagers whose ideas and spirituality will enlighten the world with human values in years to come. The institute yearns for youth of the region to secure a place in this world of ever developing and advancing science and technology exposing their creativities and talents.
