    September, 2014 MONTHLY ACTIVITY REPORT

Howdy LARC club members, it is that time of the month again, I mean for the Activities Report!!!!!!! OLD THINGS THAT WENT ON Our meeting at the library on the 12th. was really good, all had a good time except my child bride Cyndy who was still in Ca. so it was not as good for me as it could have been. On Aug. 22, the club went to the Gum Springs eating spot in Briggs TX. for our monthly Friday night dinner out. we had 36 members and guests, most everyone said the food was good but not all, we may have over-whelmed them just a " LIL BIT". It was a great turn out and a closer drive for some of the people who live in that area. That is about it for the exciting past things we did so now on to the new things going on. [Ed Note: due to your tardy editor, we are shifting the new things down a paragraph of two.] Aug.29th Friday evening is the Oatmeal Festival BBQ, we usually show up in our club cars between 4:00 and 4:30pm.set out some chairs, gossip, tell lies and the ladies look at good lookin young men??? eat at 5:00 relax a little and leave... Life is good.............. NEW THINGS GOING ON Friday Night Fever on Sept 5th. between 5 and 6 PM till whenever. Invite your friends who have a car, to cruise in to come on down, or if you see a nice car parked somewhere or on the road, try to let them know about it.....Let us all try and make this cruise as big and fun as we can... Sun. Sept. 7th. We have a group going to the PECAN BREWING COMPANY in Johnson City to listen to a real fun band, the band does Merle Haggard, Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson and Ray Price...We will leave the Marble Falls Walmart at 4:30 PM. You do NOT need to bring club cars!! The next car show will be Gatesville Sept. 20th. There is info on their web site CruzinCruzers@ yahoo.com Sept.27th, there are 2 car shows, one in Comanche and one in Briggs. It's your choice. There may be a car-avan, so stay tuned to your emails. If there are any updates on car doin’s I'll get an email out or if anyone has a fun idea for an activity let me know!! That's all I can think of, Again if y'all don't like my AktivaTee Rep-portt !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    EDITOR’S CORNER

Well, Mark has this activity report thing going pretty well. I look forward to seeing each of his future monthly submittals to the Newsletter. Many thanks to Ron Adwers for all the pictures. We are still having internet compatibility problems with the pictures that are e-mailed to the membership. Ron has very generously creat-ed for your friendly editor a CD of all the pictures taken in the past month. Because of his efforts, we can put the pics into each issue.

OOPS!!!! Your friendly, seldom seen editor has been informed by our capable website manager, Vee, that this Septem-ber Issue has too many pictures, and the file we send to Vee is to big to permit posting. Too many mega-bytes or bits. To view all the pictures of the events that happened in August, please go to this website

NEW BUSINESS BOB DEETS It was proposed to have a big garage sale, and members were invited to look into a good location to host this event. It was also requested that a group of club members
