Welcome to Community Relations and Cultural Awareness Week!Community Relations and Cultural Awareness Week is a high profile initiative supporting the Northern Ireland Executive’s Together: Building a United Community (T:BUC) strategy. It is an opportunity to celebrate all aspects of our culture and heritage, to promote cultural diversity and to tackle sectarianism and racism.

The Week’s primary objectives are to inspire new ideas, promote understanding, respect and engagement between and amongst all sections of our community. It provides a platform for organisations and groups across a variety of sectors to demonstrate innovative approaches to good relations and examples of how we can build a united and shared community.

This year’s theme is ‘Safe space, shared place’. It will focus on how we can create a community where everyone feels safe and secure while showcasing the range of shared spaces at our disposal.

All events listed have received financial support from Fermanagh and Omagh District Council’s good relations programme assisted by The Executive Office.
