LTD will provide free service to those participating in the Butte-to-Butte race and the Oregon Country Fair, courtesy of the Oregon Track Club and the Oregon Country Fair respectively.

Last month more than 2,800 commuters from 240 teams stepped up for the Business Commute Challenge. By hopping the bus, carpooling, bicycling, walking and teleworking, their combined efforts resulted in 100,162 miles not driven and 98,413 pounds of CO2 emissions saved from being emitted into our air - in just one week! Summertime funEnjoy weekday evenings with sun, good eats, live music, and family fun. Activities include a helmet giveaway, bicycle traffic garden, learn-to-ride clinic, and circus arts at these neighborhood parks. All events are 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.

Increased serviceEarlier this year, LTD asked riders and community members for their input on service in west Eugene. Information was gathered through a series of outreach activities, including 22 presentations and a survey resulting in overwhelmingly positive feedback for transit service that increases connectivity and provides more travel options and better frequency.LTD’s service plan for west Eugene integrates the new EmX West service with 10 bus routes. The service plan, adopted by the LTD Board of Directors in April, represents a significant and exciting service enhancement for our community.The following 11 routes will be affected by service changes beginning September 17:

FRANKLIN BOULEVARD CONSTRUCTION

Detours through Fall 2018Now through fall of 2018, the City of Springfield will be making major road improvements to Franklin Boulevard in the Glenwood neighborhood. People traveling through this area should anticipate detours and delays, including some impacts to transit service.
