Principal’s Message Sharon Ferralli, Principal Four Seasons Newsletter December 2018/January 2019 MAKE MAGIC HAPPEN! MAKE MAGIC HAPPEN! MAKE MAGIC HAPPEN! MAKE MAGIC HAPPEN! Happy Holidays! It is a busy and exciting time of year for everyone. There are so many things to do and places to go. While our students will enjoy the excitement over these next few weeks it is important to remember that learning in school is our priority. We ask your help in maintaining your child’s good habits throughout the next few weeks. Encourage daily reading and math fact practice as part of your family’s evening routine. The staff joins me in thanking you for the opportunity to work with you and your children in this wonderful community. We wish you a meaningful and cherished holiday season with family and friends. We collected lots of food for our Harvest for the Hungry Food Drive. Thank you for your generosity! Our Super Star Reader is growing! Many students hit the 25 book mark already! We are very proud of them. Please let us know if your child did not receive a special postcard. We’re excited that our chorus had the opportunity to sing at the Odenton Tree Lighting last Saturday. Speed Stacks are up and running on Tuesday and Thursday mornings! This is a drop-in program. PTA is sponsoring a school-side Christmas Around the World Assembly for students on our next Magic Monday. We have a new copier in the Media Center! Our Health Room is being completely renovated this summer! It will be bigger and more private. Happy Holidays! It is a busy and exciting time of year for everyone. There are so many things to do and places to go. Winter Wonderland Exhibit

at the Westfield

Annapolis Mall

Please stop by the Winter Wonderland Art exhibit any time between December 4, 2018 and January 2, 2019 to see the wonderful artwork created by Dominick Mishaga and Clara Van Rompay (1st grade) and Jeppe Lauridsen and Johanne Lauridsen (3rd grade).

Speed Stacks (a.k.a. cup stacking) morning program

will start December 6, 2018. Students can come in

on Thursday mornings from 7:30–8:30 am. There

will be no permission slip for this, it is a drop-in

program. Entrance to the building will be through

the front door. If we have a delayed opening,

there will be no speed stacks that day. If your

child is in morning care at the school, SACC has a

form you need to complete. The

program will run until early March. If

Four Seasons Elementary School is equipped with a video camera system. It covers selected interior and exterior public portions of the building and grounds.
