TYPES OF TRAINING CLASSROOM LEARNING Our open enrolment thermography training courses are regularly held in Melbourne and at other locations throughout Australia. Open enrolment courses offer several distinct advantages to students. Among these are: Classroom setting dedicated to infrared training Opportunity to meet with other professionals from around the world Ability to test drive several types of infrared cameras Freedom from the constant distractions of the office

FLEXIBLE LEARNING IPI Learning ’s Flexible Learning certified thermography courses allow you to complete the theoretical portion of your certification in your own time, at your own desk, as well as enjoying the interactive benefits of classroom learning for the practical experiments and equipment operation. The Flexible Learning thermography courses are perfect for people who: Don’t have time to spend 5 days in a classroom Understand that hands on experience is an essential part of a thermography

certification Are self-employed contractors who need to study after hours or to juggle it

with work commitments Are essential employees who need the flexibility to study in between doing

their daily tasks at work

D ISTANCE LEARNING A selection of IPI Learning’s thermography training courses are available through our Distance Learning program. PROVIDING INDEPENDENT, UNBIASED INFORMATION

The ISO Cat 1 course is intended for those with limited vibration experience. It allows everyone to get a hands-on feel for how vibration can properly be used to detect various problems in rotating machines.

COURSE OVERV IEW Basic vibration theory is presented to give each student an understanding of vibration as it relates to machine condition, along with hands-on demonstrations and class exercises designed to demonstrate proper data collection techniques. Measurement pitfalls are discussed, along with their adverse effect on machine problem diagnosis, and how they are critical to evaluating the severity of problems detected.

WHO SHOULD APPLY

Maintenance Supervisors

Rotating Machinery Engineers

Predictive Maintenance Technicians and Coordinators

Reliability Engineers

Multi-skilled Mechanics

CERTIF ICATION & RECOGNIT ION This training course follows the ISO 18436.2 Category 1 Standard. The AINDT ISO Cat 1 Vibration Analysis Certification Exam is available at the end of the course*. Certification also requires practical experience. * Please confirm availability prior to the course.

FEES Course tuition includes: all course presentations and reference materials and an informal exam. The AINDT Certification Exam incurs an additional cost.
