What Bookworm does?

Bookworm is a Goa based organisation that works with children, educators and the community to grow

the bookworm culture. The initiatives include a community library, literacy activities, school programs,

workshops, publishing.

Mission for the Mobile Library Program:

To enable a library experience for all children, irrespective of class, home language and geography.

Document and understand outreach activity.

Develop models for replication and sharing.

Library volunteers play an important role as partners in Bookworm’s mission of taking books to

children and connecting them to the world of ideas and information.

We assure you rewarding opportunities that might suit you! We're looking for people willing to

donate just a few hours of their time on an ongoing basis. Volunteer opportunities may include:

o Assisting an existing outreach site

o Leading a new site

o Developing material/ideas for the program

o Fund raising for the program

o Networking
