HFC-227eaEquipment Module
SafetyPressurised cylinders are potentially lethal and should only be handled by experienced, trained personnel. The following steps should be taken in each installation.
• Pressurised cylinders must not be accepted onto site if the point of location is not ready to accommodate them or is unsuitable.
• Appropriate handling equipment must be used to move them safely around the site to the final point of location.
• Do not store the cylinders free standing or unsupported.• The cylinder bank must be located to a solid load bearing surface capable of
taking the load.• Discharge valve protection caps must not be removed until the cylinders are
mounted in position and ready to have the discharge hoses connected. Discharge hoses must have been prior installed to the manifold or piping.
• Discharge valve protection caps must be retained for future use.• Actuators must be in the set position prior to mounting to the discharge valve.• The solenoid actuator or pilot cylinder must only be installed when the system
is ready to be commissioned and placed into service.

Impulse Valve Operator (IVO)
• IP65• Temperature Range: -20°C to +50°C• Latching• Can be electronically or manually activated• The IVO provides enough force to strike the actuation pin and open
the rupture disc• Will require reset tool (P/N 70-286) to reset solenoid• Maximum supervisory current of 2mA
P/N: 02-12728
Impulse Valve Operator (IVO)
Can be electronically and manually activated. Good for multiple uses.
The IVO provides enough force to strike the actuation pin and open the rupture disc.
Part Number: 02-12728
Impulse Valve Pneumatic Operator(IVPO)
• Temperature Range: -20°C to +50°C• Latching• Operating Pressure: 7 bar min 35 bar max• 1/8” NPT Connection• The IVPO is pneumatically activated by the discharge pressure from the
initial container discharge (Maximum of 6 IVPO’s from a single IVO) • Will require reset tool (P/N 70-286) to reset pneumatic actuator
