The seller is obliged to secure all Tchibo requirements for finished products with focus on requirements harmful substances testing for the recycled yarn which is used/ offered. (e.g. Detox USAGE BAN of the priority harmful substances groups, RSL, Reach, etc.). The form "Declaration Recycled Fibre" will be provided separately by our buying team. The seller has to fill out the “Declaration” for each individual recycled fibre which should be used for this product and submit to the responsible buyer together with the offer sample (DITS) and later with certificates and lab reports (Quality Sample). GRS or RCS Certificate for each used recycled yarn/material is required. Recommendation for sourcing of recycled material:

Material additional requirementsCare and wear propertiesTextile products must be durable and not wear out quickly when being used in an appropriate manner. It must be guaranteed that the appearance and function before and after washing must be maintained for the following numbers of washing and drying cycles: 10 times washing, 10 times drying and 5 times dry cleaning depending on the requested care instructions. The applicable care instructions for each product are mentioned in the technical specification (Washing and drying should be done in accordance with DIN EN ISO 6330 section 5.1 and 5.2).

General requirements for the fabricThe fabric needs to be even and smooth. The handfeel should neither be too hard and stiff nor too flabby. A fluffy or pilly surface will not be accepted. Twisting which influences the fabric in a negative way should not occur. The fabric has to be cut in thread / mesh run.

Unpleasant smellThe article must not produce any unpleasant smell.
