Wednesday, May 12, 6:00 p.m., Hanley Hall - Hosted by the Parish Council

Bring your favorite picnic/movie food (KFC, Cane's Chicken, Subway, Amado's, popcorn, candy, drinks, etc.) and join the Parish Council for the viewing of For Greater Glory

staring Andy Garcia and Eva Longoria. Hanley Hall will be converted into our very own picnic destination.

"Picnic tables" will be set up with enough space to account for social distancing.

Note: This is a “Bring your own food” event.

About the Movie (2 hrs., 25 mins., rated R for war violence) In late 1920’s in Mexico, retired Gen. Gorostieta (Andy Garcia) and his wife (Eva Longoria)

watch their country degenerate into violent civil war when the government enacts a series of anti-clerical laws. Gorostieta is at first hesitant to join the rebels, known as Cristeros, until he begins to

see the cost of religious persecution on his countrymen. Though the odds are against him, the General nevertheless transforms a ragtag band of rebels into a formidable fighting force.

Anniversar ies Remembered

Remembering the deceased members of our parish on their anniversary of death.

Want to escape the heat of the valley and enjoy the cool air of the Coconio National Forest at Mormon Lake? Well, this could be your chance.

The Knights of Colum-bus - Counsel 11999 are looking to send a couple students to camp this summer. All you have to do is share

in an essay (125 words or less) why you would like to attend St Joseph’s Youth Camp. Please complete your essay and return it to the parish office by May 16th. The Knights of Columbus will notify the winners by May 23rd. Good Luck!

Knights of Columbus Baby Bottle Drive continues through May 8/9

Knights of Columbus are sponsoring their annual Baby Bottle Drive benefitting the Aid to Women’s Center. If you would like to participate in the drive, stop by the parish office during the week to pick up a baby bottle. Just a reminder...be sure to return your coin filled baby bottle to church no later than the weekend of May 8/9 (after any of the Masses). Funds collected will benefit Aid to Women’s Center in purchasing baby items needed to continue their support and services; providing compassionate care for women and families through pregnancy. To learn more about Aid to Women Center visit: aidtowomen-center.org

Knights of Columbus Rosary for Life - May 13, 6 PM

Please join the Knights of Columbus on Thurs-day, May 13th at 6 PM in the chapel as we pray the Rosary for Life for an end to Abortion.

Attention Students Ages 8-12 and Teens 13-15

In-person Bereavement Ministry meetings resume Monday, May 10, 10 AM - 11:30 AM, and Thursday, May 27, 3 PM - 4:30 PM, in the Social Hall. Social distancing will be observed. Note change in meeting days/times.

This ministry provides comfort to parishioners who have lost a loved one. The opportunity to share, read, and reflect, in a small group setting, helps those in attendance find encouragement for changes in their lives while working through their grief journey. This parishioner support group comes together to help each other navi-gate through the grief journey. Ministry Coordi-nators have attended the Bereavement Care Training offered by the Diocese of Phoenix. To learn more about this ministry, contact the par-ish office, (480) 838-7474. Just a reminder… No professional counseling is offered.

Bereavement Ministry

Requesting a Prayer Shawl
