Jeffrey A. Kuhman founded the company in 1976 and he continues as President and CEO today. Glycon originally operated under the name Great Lakes Feedscrews but changed to its present name when the business expanded to include the full range of meltstream products, backed by a wide array of technical resources, including advanced R&D, process problem solving, training and field service.

Today, Glycon meltstream solutions are at work around the world, increasing productivity and quality for companies like Plastech Engineered Products, Newell/Rubbermaid, Saturn, Dow Chemical and Lear Corporation; and advancing the frontier of processing technology in cooperation with machine builders like Milacron, Ube, Krauss Maffei, Bekum and Graham Machinery.
