NORTH DAKOTA HOSA 1 Roarick Schollmeyer will be a senior at Century High School. Coupled with HOSA, he is also involved in National Honors Society, FBLA, ATA, and the Mule Deer Foundation. In addition to his engagements with the noted organizations, Roarick is also an active participant on both his school’s varsity soccer and track teams. In his spare time, Roarick enjoys hunting, fishing, biking, running, and skeet shooting. He looks forward to meeting people with similar interests as well as being the North Dakota state president of HOSA. Laiken Grensteiner will be a junior at Bismarck High School. She is involved in Key Club, Latin Club, and National Honor Society. In her free time, Laiken loves to practice basketball and softball. She also likes to read and volunteer. She is a straight- A student that wishes to go to medical school after graduating in 2018. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling and creating new memories with them. Preeti Chemiti attends West Fargo Sheyenne High School and will be a sophomore. Besides her involvement in HOSA, Preeti also participates in many other activities including varsity tennis, student council, chamber orchestra, debate, and speech. After her graduation in 2019, she aspires to attend an Ivy League University and eventually hold a medical career. In her free time, she loves to volunteer, play tennis, and read. Kylee Arndt will be a senior at West Fargo Sheyenne High School. She is involved in several organizations other than HOSA: Future Health Professionals. She is involved in Key Club International, FCCLA, Student Council, National Honor Society, International Thespian Society, Chamber Orchestra, and German Club. During the summer, she has gone to North Dakota Governor’s School for Mathematics in 2015, for this summer she will be taking CNA classes, additionally she has received a scholarship from the Joyce Ivy Foundation in their Summer Scholars Program to attend pre-college for high schoolers; through this program she will be attending Cornell in Ithaca, NY for three weeks. When not in school or summer programs, she volunteers, watches the newest television shows comics, crime, action, drama, you name it, and she reads: fiction, math, science, memoirs, and other non-fiction. Kylee is often seen spending time with her friends and family; being fascinated with office supplies, traveling, and listening to Rock n’ Roll. Kaylee Arndt will be a senior at West Fargo Sheyenne High School. Besides being in HOSA: Future Health Professionals, Kaylee is also involved in Key Club International, Family Career and Community Leaders of America, National Honors Society, International Thespian Society, Pit Orchestra, Chamber Orchestra, and Deutsch Klub. She has attended several competitions for the organizations and clubs she is in, and holds office in several of them. This year she was awarded the Distinguished President Award from Key Club International. She has attended North Dakota Governors School in the Mathematics in 2015. Kaylee has over 200 hours of community service since 2014 and loves to spend her free time helping others. Because of this, she plans to devote her time to saving lives in the medical profession. In her free time, Kaylee is often seen spending time with her friends and family, volunteering, traveling, playing her cello, reading, or jamming out to music. April May Newsletter On behalf of all HOSA members, we would like to thank the judges for all the time and work they put in at the Spring Leadership Conference held at the University of Jamestown in March. We are extremely grateful, for they made the state conference such a success. Without the fair judges, the turn out would have been very different. The judges were kind, understanding, honest and most importantly, took time out of their busy lives to help make the conference as wonderful as it was. So again, thank you for all the hard work! Roarick Schollmeyer will be a senior at Century High School. Coupled with HOSA, he is also

involved in National Honors Society, FBLA, ATA, and the Mule Deer Foundation. In addition to

his engagements with the noted organizations, Roarick is also an active participant on both his

The 39th annual HOSA International Leadership Conference will be held from

June 22nd -25th in Nashville, Tennessee. The International Leadership is filled

with fun activities such as general sessions, competitive events, talks from

medical professionals, the chance to make new friends, and more! The theme this

year is Innovate-Inspire- Ignite, and participants enjoy recognition, fun, and

various opportunities. This conference is highly seen as the highlight of a HOSA

member summer- we hope to see you there! For more information about the
