In Earth’s polar regions, the aurora—a ghostly flicker and colorful glow— mysteriously brightens the night sky. One of the most incredible natural
phenomena in the world, the array of colors of the aurora is a source of endless theory and wonder.
Follow the rise of the extremist militia movement, from Ruby Ridge to Waco, that led to the
deadliest act of domestic terrorism in American history—the 1995 bombing by Timothy McVeigh
that killed 168 people in Oklahoma City.
Examine the 1992 FBI siege at Ruby Ridge that helped launch the modern militia movement
through eyewitness accounts, including Randy Weaver’s daughter and federal agents involved
in the deadly confrontation.
