Advanced Rx SRS Rx, powered by Dr. First Bug fixes and enhancements
- New Feature Advanced Rx
SRS Rx, powered by Dr. First.
Ability to prescribe or renew medications in a batch.
Prescribe controlled and non-controlled substances together in the same batch; additional credentials are required for controlled substances.
Integrated PDMP enables providers to check their state's Prescription Drug Monitoring Program prior to or during the prescribing process, where state integration is available. The PDMP is updated with the date, time and NPI of the provider who accessed the record. EPCS use is a pre-requisite to PDMP.
Interstate checking of PDMP is available for 45 participating states. Practices just need to indicate the desired states during implementation.
Brand name and generic medications display when searching for a medication to prescribe.
Mobile Rx enables prescribers to prescribe medications, manage refill requests and check state PDMP databases (if available) on their phone or tablet from anywhere.
Favorite Prescriptions enable users to quickly select from a list of frequently used drugs with instructions.
“Sticky SIGs” feature displays the most recently used SIG associated with the medication when prescribing.
Separate lists for Active Medications and Inactive Medications.
Medications downloaded from other sources can easily be added to the Active Medications list.
Prescribing a drug in the Active Medications list with different instructions provides the option to update the Active Medications to reflect the new instructions.
Ability to assign Stop Dates to medications so they automatically move to the Inactive Medications list.

Formulary Alerts enable selecting a formulary-preferred medication while prescribing instead of having to restart the entire prescription process; or prescribers can enter a justification and continue to prescribe the non-preferred medication. Prevents patient dissatisfaction by avoiding non-preferred, higher cost drugs.
Clinical Alerts display for interactions, dosage, and age-related precautions; prescribers can enter a justification and continue to prescribe the medication.
Reconciliation alert when prescribing a drug already in patient’s chart with different SIG
Allergies can be added using a pick-list of most common allergens. Allergies are no longer added as historical medications.
Allergies can be added on the ingredient / class level, e.g. “sulfa”.
Allergies that are not valid for Clinical Alerts are flagged; they can be updated to be recognized by the alerts.
Ability to enter and save frequently used “additional directions” (free text) to the patient to a pick-list for future use.

- New Feature
InteliChart® Patient Portal (Regulatory Updates)
Patients can request a chart update via the Patient Portal. When a patient requests a change, a message is sent to the SRS Message Center indicating that the patient has requested an update to the chart. The practice must go to the Practice Portal to see the request.
- Enhanced
Feature Direct Messaging
Direct Messaging can be used outside of the context of
Transitions of Care (Referrals). This enables providers to
close the loop and send documentation (attachments) back
to referring providers; or to communicate with other
providers securely via direct messaging. The attachments
include any document in the patient’s chart in addition to the
Continuity of Care Document (CCD) and Referral Note.
Updated to support C-CDA 2.1 templates (standardized
format for interoperability).
SRS EHR can receive and display all of the C-CDA 2.1
templates beyond just CCD and Referral Notes, e.g.
Diagnostic Imaging Reports, Discharge Summary, Progress
Note, etc.
New icon on incoming CCD documents indicates if the
document contains errors; the user can click on the icon to
view the error details, should they occur.
New user settings in SRS Administration to control the
display of data received in a Transition of Care document
(Users > Profiles > TOC Display Order.)
- Enhanced
Feature CPOE
A message can be automatically sent to users or to a pool
when adding a Radiology or Procedure order via
Orders/Results.
Message recipients can be added “on-the-fly” when adding
an order.
Message recipients can be added to Default Orders (in the
Orders/Admin PowerTab).
- Enhanced

of Observation Date / Time; corresponding user setting in SRS
