Laxmi Bharsat is a farmer who lives with her son & daughter-in-law. They also rear poultry & goats managing to

make ends meet.

Laxmi started developing blurry vision in both her eyes. This hampered her work in the fields & around the house. She moved by detecting light & shadow & feeling her way

around.

Laxmi couldn't support her family in their chores at home or work outside the house. Her vision deteriorated

progressively. Laxmi's neighbours then informed her about a MFV supported eye camp nearby, which she attended.

Laxmi had cataracts in both eyes which were removed at Tulsi Chanrai Eye Hospital, a MFV partner. Soon, she was

back to work as usual & her independent life. Laxmi is very happy & thankful to have her sight restored.
