Upcoming Opportunities For Parents of Young Children

2013 Breastfeeding ChallengeSaturday. October 5 th – 10am Fantastic NEW Location (To Be Announced)

Please join us for this fun community event for Breastfeeding Families. Last year Chilliwack Placed #1 in North America! The Breastfeeding Challenge is a fun, yearly health promotion event that pits cities against each other in a friendly rivalry to see which city can get the largest number of babies breastfeeding simultaneously in one geographic location.

This year’s “latch on” will be at 11am on Sat. Oct. 5th.

Businesses in our community are quick to support breastfeeding families. The health benefits that breastfeeding our babies offers to the community as a whole are well documented. Local businesses have offered some wonderful door prizes for our event (spa treatments, free baby sign language classes and more). There will also be some ‘goodies’ for ALL pre-registered Moms to take home. Babies will receive a commemorative certificate. Please pre-register to ensure their names are spelt correctly.

Please look for us on facebook and share this info. with all your breastfeeding friends. The more we get the word out – the better Chilliwack will place in this international competition between cities!
