Family Place – October Newsletter
AUTUMN IS A SECOND SPRING WHEN EVERY LEAF BECOMES A FLOWER.
Hello Family Place parents and caregivers,
We hope you are well and staying safe and healthy. We have missed you and your children. We have
had the joy of seeing many familiar faces via our ZOOM crafts and circle sessions. The response and
support we have received from you has been uplifting and encouraging.
As we step into fall, we have some new changes coming up. We are so excited to be offering face-to face
Family Place sessions to families. Please read through these details carefully. Do not hesitate to call us if
you have any further questions or inquiries.
Due to COVID-19, we have made some changes in how Family Place is offered.
Please note these important guidelines:
✓ Sessions will be shorter and attendance numbers will be limited, with only 7 participants
per session.
✓ Handwashing procedures will be in place
✓ Note that only one adult may attend with child(ren) from the same family bubble per
session.
✓ Wearing a mask at all times (adults only) and kids over age 2 if they are able.
✓ Limit the number of personal items brought into Family Place.
✓ Refer to the form for a health check before entering the centre on the days you attend.
✓ Please do not attend if you or your child(ren) are experiencing any symptoms of illness.
✓ Keep social distance from others.
✓ We no longer share food together but will provide a small snack to-go on your way out. ✓ Each family will receive a tote filled with a few toys, books, and craft supplies to play
with.
Sign-Up Procedure and Information:
✓ Online sign-up is required in-order to attend all activities.
✓ Please sign your child(ren) up for only one ‘in-person’ session per week at Family Place
South
✓ If you are unable to attend your booked time, please withdraw your name as soon as
