Duties & Responsibilities
● Schedule officer photos (group & individual)● Capture photographs of members & officers at:

● Apply MISSO watermarks to all photos & upload to the MISSO Facebook page in a timely manner
● Create website banners for every event, update when necessary
● Schedule LinkedIn headshots with members

Duties & Responsibilities
● Cat’s Back & Bauer Rush Week (4 days)○ Coordinate the event logistics and set up
the materials to have a successful booth○ Talk to potential members and represent
the organization to recruit new and old members to sign up and attend orientation
○ Email professors and coordinate officer’s schedule for in-class presentations
● Bulletin Board○ Contact marketing team or creation station
to design the bulletin board for the semester
○ Contact Media officer for officer photos
○ Mentorship Mixer○ Co-Host with Public Relations Officer to continue
MISSO’s mentorship program. ■ Be Creative

● Have team help by scheduling them on shifts and offer laptops to sign up
● Professors: Email them a few weeks before to get head count and schedule officers to speak in those classes
● Bulletin: Theme? Look out for expenses and stay under budget for future events. Many trips to stores. Be prepared for mess ups!

• You have to be a LEADER. The role is A LOT harder than it seems – luckily, you will have a group of people available to help YOU and you need to know how to delegate responsibilities and manage the group.

1. Call and negotiate with restaurants and find the best deal. Be ready to come and ask the restaurant owner for a picture of their Food Manager Certificate/Health Inspection Certificate if UH required you to do so.
2. Run around and pick up the food from wherever and if supplies are needed, be sure to get those.
3. Manage and stay under budget. Please also avoid the repetition of food.
4. Work with your committee, they are your backbone. Take care of them and build relationship with them. You can’t just add them on GroupMe and ask for their help.
5. Be sure to have enough food to feed all people attending to PM, including recruiters and officers. Which requires lots of guesstimating. So also be like at least a little good at math.
6. Work with treasurer and technology officer. They will be your best friends.
7. Make sure to have enough supplies.

My suggestions...
● As soon as Corporate Relations officer confirms the events that the companies will attend and membership status, send out the invoices. Procrastination means a delayed waiting period for payments to MISSO.
● Please keep a detailed document showing all companies participating in events for the semester and be sure to make sure you know at all times which companies have paid MISSO and have to pay.
Corporate Officer Interview
Purpose: A short interview with President, VP, and Current Corporate to evaluate the candidates deliverable as well as provide the candidate with a better understanding with what the role entails and what to expect throughout the semester. The candidate will be asked a series of questions and then have the opportunity to ask questions at the end. After deliberation, majority vote, will determine which candidates continue on to present at election night.
When: Interviews will be conducted the week of November 5th
