At the end of 2014 there
were 647 Fairtrade
certified producer
organizations in 24
countries in Latin America
and the Caribbean. Of
these, 572 were small
producer organizations

Fairtrade Premium in Latin America and the Caribbean
Sales of coffee continued to
account for the majority of
the Fairtrade Premium
earned in Latin America and
the Caribbean in 2013–14 (56
percent), while coffee and
bananas together accounted
for 82 percent of Fairtrade
Premium receipts
