Studio Portraits
I took photographs in the black studio of Selma, I took pictures with a range of different face expressions, for example one is looking down, one is looking to the right. I used Photoshop to crop the nega/ve space that was not needed and also I edited the photograph into black and white, I also liked the fact that the picture where in focus. What I could improve on is
• My inten/on when taking this photograph was to capture Selma in the white studios with a flower in her hair. The compos/on of the picture is strong, I wanted to get aVen/on in the center of the photograph. If I was to reshoot this photograph I would keep the hair /dy instead of having it all around face. I took the image up front this is because I wanted to express Selma beauty. The image was taken properly and in focus and correctly exposed. I put the original colour over the black and white to get this sense of a mixture of colours.
• Overall I think the photograph was a success and I was able to capture what I wanted
White Studio
Evalua/on • My inten/on of capturing this photograph was to capture the subject with balloons being
thrown at them. The subject is very dark and accidently out of focus, the image was taken up close from low view point. I wanted to get aVen/on on the center of the photograph. If I was to re capture the photo, I would try and get the models to do the correct face impression and able to express to there beauty.
• Overall I think it could have been beVer, if I captured the subject several /mes un/l it was properly in focus

Street Portrait 1
In my opinion, I think this photograph is very professional because of the angle that it has been taken of. I have edited and cropped this photograph . This also tells that the people in the picture are students having an enjoyable day. The composi/on of this photograph is very bright and the use of different colours.
Street Portrait 3
In this photograph we can see two friends that are calm, happy and relaxed. I have cropped the nega/ve space that was not needed. This mod of the photograph looks a bit mysterious.
Street Portrait 2
As you can see in this photograph this person is not very happy of this photograph being taken. I think this picture is taken at a good angle and it express his facial expression. In this picture I would describe the mood as nostalgic
Street Portrait 4
In this photograph we can see that this man looks very exhausted from his day at work. In this photograph , I have zoomed in, cropped the photograph and edited the colours, what I also like about this photograph is that there is not many people coming in the way and seems to be like a peaceful day.
Street Portrait 5
In this photograph we see three people seem like that they are having a fun day. I have captured this picture because it allows them to express there beauty and to show how strong there friendship is. The background of the photograph stands out a lot.
Street Portrait 6
In this photograph we are looking at couple on a day out. As we can see both of there faces are facing different direc/ons ones looking at me and the other is looking on the right. I like this photograph because of the angle that it has been taken from
Face to Face Exhibi/on
Evalua/on
• Posi/ve strengths • In my opinion, I think that I was successful stopping people asking
to take their portrait. The photograph that I have taken capture personality and is quite natural. The composi/on of the photograph is strong because the models are situated in the centre of the photograph crea/ng balance. I also like that the photograph is in focus.
Weakness As a mistake, I think that I have cropped more than expected for example the boVom of their feet. I believe that I had to take the photograph quiet quickly what I could improve on is capture them in a different style, use a range of different colours.
