#How do we take the people-oriented HP to the next level?Based on three problems, we identified that having a core value is extremely important in unifying our HR for a ultimate cause. The corporate vision.Which is why we want to promote a HP core value of openness throughout the organization, and we will do these through a HR integration plan, including hackathon, peer mentoring program and secondment at headquarters.We believe this will lay the foundation for attracting, engaging and retaining our talents.Eventually, our HR plan will act as the enabler of our corporate vision.

Our key question today is how can we devise a successful HR plan to align and support the success of our business strategy?

How can we bring HPs existing people-oriented culture to the next level? Based on the three problems that we identified previously, we see the importance of having a core value or brand of the company in bringing together the human resources.

Therefore our core strategy today is to build a strong employer brand for HP. The idea is to promote a HP value of openness through a series of HR integration program.

Like building a house, we need a strong foundation in order to realize the corporate vision of HP. We need a brand which people can relate to and use as a proxy to feel part of HP. Through a series of HR integration program, the hackathon, peer mentoring program and secondment at the headquarters, we want to attract, engage and retain the best talents. Through having a pool of top talents, we can then provide a solid base to reach for the peak in enabling our corporate vision.8
