How do the elements of your production work together to create a

sense of branding?

A brand is a product that is differentiated publicly from others. It is through branding that audiences get to know that a particular rage of products are produced/distributed by a same company. In my advanced portfolio we are required to make a short film along with a movie website and postcard.

I have tried to use similar theme in my film as well as in my postcard and website to create a sense of branding. Audiences could easily recognize that thee products are produced by SB Productions.

As my story doesn’t have a happy ending therefore I have used the black and white theme in my postcard to connote sorrow, depression and perhaps a sad story.

As my movie is based on social drama genre and my main characters are teenagers so I have used bright colors in my movie, be it for costumes or mis-en-scene. I have shown the girl in my movie playing with balloons and stuff toys and this gives a colorful look to movie.

I have used pink color in my website to again connote that this is a website of a social drama film. Furthermore I have kept the movie’s title font color and style similar in my movie and on my website.
