Several cases have been reported concerning of corrosion in the doubler assembler of the water
and waste box flange at Center Fuselage III.
For this reason, a modification of the water and waste box attachment at Center Fuselage III
(CF3) is needed, between frames 85 and 86, and frames 88 and 89.
This modification will protect the water and waste box against corrosion with this new
installation, avoiding water accumulation and premature corrosion as a consequence.
