KINDERGARTENKid Quest “A Passport around the World”

Who says you can’t travel the world in a summer? They must be the same people who thought the earth was flat? In an explorative extravaganza kindergartners will be given pilot’s wings and speedboat steam to cruise the Antarctic, climb the Great Wall of China, safari in South Africa, meet some gorillas in Uganda, adventure in Argentina, then touch the pyramids in Egypt, spinning the globe with tiny fingertips and sifting sand through sun kissed hands; what was once a summer of plastic pools and sunscreen dreams will now become a cultural stew of learning made fun with awe-inspiring scenery certain to stimulate and stun. At the start of our journey each child will be given a learning passport. Worldwide navigation begins at one of the local elementary school and as they traverse trails they will also sightsee through the lens of mathematics, reading, creativity, communications, family, geography, nature, and music. This sightseeing tour will guarantee a vacation voyage that only legends are made of, and at the end of the expedition there will be no goodbyes. Instead, say Hello, Jambo, Hola and even Konichiwa. Say Bonjour to the world and Adios to summer boredom blues.

The Kid Zone (2nd and 3rd grade)Get In the Zone!

It’s easy to get in the zone when you’re doing something that you enjoy! This is the philosophy behind Camp Kid Zone! Second and third graders need a place where they feel right at home doing things that excite and inspire them. Here at Camp Kid Zone campers are encouraged to explore various zones, while also utilizing their self-directed enthusiasm to even create zones all their own. From weekly Target Zones (inclusive of art, education and physical exploration) to daily Fun Zones (such as building, singing, dancing, cooking and water play), Camp Kid Zone is certain to ignite a passion for discovery in all of its campers! Camp Kid Zone also boasts exciting field trips and weekly swim excursions. This camp will assuredly give a whole new meaning to the phrase zoning out! Don’t hesitate! Sign your kids up, so they can Get In the Zone!

Camp Creation Station (1st grade)A Journey of Wonderment

All aboard the summer train to Camp Creation Station. Our destination is fun and our mission is to take your child’s imagination on an amazing ride. Camp Creation Station is designed to offer a diverse group of creative, fun and educational activities set in a cooperative environment where each child can expand their love of learning. Arts and crafts, hands on projects, and entertaining field trips are matched only by the caring staff and weekly station adventures! Some adventures include exploring new dimensions, 3D experimentation and even designing miniature racecars. From the brainchild to the finished invention and the wizardry that makes it all complete, this camp is certain to open doors to a world of wonderment and a magical retreat. There’s no telling what innovations will originate from Camp Creation Station! One thing is for sure: first graders will be given a first class ticket to a summer they will never forget!

FOURTH & FIFTH GRADESCAMP 45 “Bridges Adventure Camp—Teaching and Reaching New Heights”

A bridge brings structural possibilities turning concrete, metal, and stone into beauty. A bridge builder makes artful design using a masterful, magnificent, and limitless mind. Culver City’s “Bridges Adventure Camp” will be both the bridge and bridge makers for 4th and 5th graders. As they make the transition into middle school, self-awareness and autonomy is sure to be their will. A bridge is the perfect symbol for their newfound independence. A bridge is strong, weather ready, and capable of carrying one the distance. There will be field trips of fun matched with team building in the sun. Some time to movie watch, cook and skate, and even time left over to talk and create. We also make it a point to bike and ride, but most importantly campers will gain that

confident stride. From the beaches to the mountains and the bridges in between, arcades and amusement parks are bound to be on the scene. Like the architects of our past who built the bridges of today thank goodness camp 45 is only a summer break away.
