Every year, all reputed schools organize field trips for their students, in order to broaden their knowledge and to give them hands-on opportunities to develop some specific skills while engaging in activities directly or indirectly linked to the school's curriculum.

Why us? We are a certificated, award-winning tour operator, established since 1994, located in both Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi. With years of experience, we are proudly providing a full range of travel services, exclusively for school field trips. We have more than 20 programs from one-day to six-day trips in Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia and Thailand, suitable for students from grade 6 to 12. We especially customize a trip based on academic objectives with a wide range of activities, including adventure, cultural discovery and exploring new destinations. In particular, we have a “give back” program which enables school trips to benefit local people. We have many different projects such as school renovation, house building, etc. Dependent on your budget, we will be able to find a suitable one. Since 2010, we have organized more than 20 field trips for over 500 students. We pride ourselves on building a long-term relationship with schools, listening to and understanding your needs in order to provide a high quality, unfor gettable experience for the students. Safety and security are our top priority and all our staff are fully trained and take students welfare very seriously. We also have a long-term cooperation with Gras Sayor who can provide full travel insurance services.

The programs presented in this brochure are succinctly described. For full itinerary with cost, please contact our team who will be happy to help select the right activity for you and will provide all relevant information.

It has always been at the heart of Buffalo Tours ethos to not exploit local communities culture and environment. We ensure our tours are of low impact on natural resources, respectful and observant of local customs and supportive of local economies. Our staff have led groups on medical treks in remote mountains and ethnic minority communi-ties, and coordinated the building of schools, kindergartens, wells, toilets and bridges for disadvantaged regions.

Below are some guidelines on how you can contribute positively to the local economy, environment and society of the region you are visiting. You can also visit our website www.buffalotours.com.vn for a copy of our Responsible Tourism Policy.

Cultural Responsibility Respect cultural differences. Dress conservatively, especially when entering religious sites. Respect the local etiquette. Always ask permission before taking photographs of people and respect their wishes if they refuse.

Social Responsibility Respect the traditions and behavior codes in visited communities. Support local communities with appropriate donations and gift giving, that will not damage and unbalance the populations. Avoid shops that sell souvenirs, food or products made from local wildlife and avoid restaurants that make a feature of wild endan gered animal species on their menus.

Environmental Responsibility Minimise waste through re-use and recycling. Carry your rubbish until you can dispose of it safely. Avoid environmental degradation by respecting trails when trekking, not removing shells and corals when snor-kelling or diving, limiting use of firewood, avoiding contact with limestone formations. Respect appropriate park regulations that ensure that wild-life is protected.
