Product placement is used within the video whereby a close up is presentedOf a pair of Dr Dre beats. This would have been used to appeal to the Audience as if they were to see that an artist would have them type of Headphones, it might persuade them into buying a pair themselves.

A close up is used of Enrique Iglesias face with him directly looking at the camera when he says a lyric with the word ‘you’ in it. This is used toMake the viewer feel that he is communicating with them as he is Looking directly into the camera which would present him as if he was Looking directly at the viewer. I like this as it makes the viewer feel as If they know the artist.

Cinematography

Titles were used here which was strangeas it is a rather old video and the more modern videos are the types of videos that are starting to use titles at the start oftheir video. I liked this as it makes the artistsname clear right before the video starts.

Editing

• I particularly like the editing in the video as It flows with the beats and when the chorus commences the shot cuts go more quickly to match the flow of the beat. I like this as it feels as if your in the moment by the way everything flows with the song and the beat.

Mise en scene

Red nail varnish is used on the woman singer In the video. The colour red connotes love and in this instance the song is related to love so her wearing red may symbolise it. It also gives her that ‘sexy’ look as girls would use nail varnish to look presentable.
