Key learnings – end-user expectations
■ Employees want a single device for business and personal use and are supportive of personally owned devices
■ User attitudes have security implications – Users will take the path of least resistance – public services.
• There is a business need to provide robust mobile services to reduce unsafe computing practices.
– Wiping an entire device is unpopular with users• Separation of personal and corporate data remains a challenge.
– Device passcode locks are a major employee dissatisfier• IT requires device passcode locks but are open to explore biometrics
■ With choices come questions (e.g. What's the best device for me?) – Provide the right information to employees so they can make informed decisions

Key learnings – IT considerations
■ External forces– Actions by the carriers in countries impact enterprise deployments– Enterprise capabilities continue to lag in a consumer-driven market
■ Network access– Leverage SSL VPN for email and a separate VPN for general access
■ Security considerations – Browser-based “cloud” solutions (e.g. iNotes, LotusLive Notes) provide
flexibility and can help address security concerns with data at rest on mobile devices
