Praise the Lord! In the company of the saints above and beside us, let us give thanks to the Lord our God!
Great are the works of the Lord, full of honor and majesty, whose righteousness endures forever.
The Lord is gracious and merciful; the work of God’s hands are faithful and just.
God’s covenant is established forever in truth and justice.
Our redemption is in the name of our Lord. Holy and awesome is God’s name in all the earth!
Praise the Lord! The Lord’s name be praised! *Hymn #263 “Immortal, Invisible, God Only Wise” ST. DENIO *Prayer of Adoration and The Lord’s Prayer Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen. Scripture Reading Mark 5: 21-42 For the Word of God in scripture, For the Word of God among us, For the Word of God within us, Thanks be to God! Time with Children *Passing the Peace “the peace of Christ be with you… and also with you”
*Congregational Response “Christ, Be Our Light”
Longing for light, we wait in darkness. Longing for truth, we turn to you. Make us your own, your holy people, light for the world to see.
(refrain) Christ, be our light! Shine in our hearts. Shine through the darkness. Christ, be our light! Shine in your church gathered today.
Many the gifts, many the people, many the hearts that yearn to belong. Let us be servants to one another, making your kingdom come. (refrain)
